Western Power
The Ask:
Over a number of years, Crafted Comms has acted as an outsourced content, communications and marketing partner for Western Power’s brand team, with a focus on translating energy-speak into the every day, and educating them about the opportunities of the energy transformation.
What we did:
Working closely with the Western Power brand team, Crafted has undertaken a huge range of work for Western Power, from developing content and messaging strategies about new technologies in the industry, to developing content (in all formats) to help residents understand what the energy revolution means for them.
We’ve also worked to support Western Power’s internal comms, employer brand and the talent pipeline needed to execute on the energy transition.
The Result:
We developed content on technical topics ranging from the distribution network, microgrids, solar and batteries, and virtual power plants that has helped put Western Power at the forefront of the national industry for translating energy transformation into easy to understand concepts, with a strong ‘why should I care’?
Critically, all content, social and comms created has been aligned to Western Power’s strategic objectives, and its employer brand and values.
Working with a huge range of SME’s in the business, we’ve formulated communications and content plans for specific projects, supported website rebuilds, employer brand and recruitment campaigns, developed FAQ’s for residential and business audiences, scripted videos for company-wide announcements and developed explainer content across all formats around the future of the grid, and the exciting technology that is driving it.
